Occupational Health & Safety

We take the safety of our workers and clients very serious and all our employees are aware of OH&S policies required in their workplace. They are aware of our aims & objectives via documented policy & procedures, to ensure the health and safety of its employees, contractors and the environment. Health & safety is everyone’s responsibility. By working within safe systems of work, we look after not only ourselves, but those and the environment around us.

Safety is our Obligation
As acknowledgment in our OH&SE policy, Integrated Business Security Pty Ltd has a legal and moral obligation to our families, our fellow employees, our customers and ourselves to perform our jobs in a safe and responsible manner.

We have set a standard of rules which have been established by Integrated Business Security Pty Ltd as a basis for our day to day safety and we aim to achieve best practice OH&SE. The OH&SE policy and procedure system along with the essential requirements are applicable to Integrated Business Security Pty Ltd workplace and are intended to positively impact on the health and safety of all persons including employees, contractors, visitors and the public and to minimize any potential for harm to the environment arising from Integrated Business Security Pty Ltd operations.

Managements Responsibilities
The management of Integrated Business Security Pty Ltd is committed to improving every aspect of health and safety by involving all staff and sub-contractors in reducing or eliminating any risks and hazards in the workplace and providing sufficient resources to comply with OH&S Regulations 2001, OH&S Act 2004 No. 40, and the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 No.86.

OH&SE Program
In order to implement the general provisions of this policy, Integrated Business Security Pty Ltd will set up and monitor a program of activities relating the OH&SE and include:

  • OH&SE training and education
  • Risk Management approach to Hazard Identification
  • Risk assessment and elimination or reduction of risks
  • Work design, workplace design & standard work procedures
  • Safety rules and disciplinary procedures
  • Changes to work methods
  • Reporting and recording incidents, injuries and illnesses
  • Provision of OH&S equipment
  • Provide OH&SE information to employees, contractors and sub-contractors
  • Workplace inspections
